Carpooling/Vanpooling and Other Transportation Alternatives
Getty has a rideshare program that offers options for staff and offers incentives for staff who carpool, take the bus, bicycle to work, etc.
Carpooling is a good option if you want to reduce commute costs and share the ride. Vanpooling may also be an option and Getty and LA County Metro provide subsidies to offset the monthly cost of the vehicle.
If you use the bus (or combination of train and bus) to get to and from Getty for work, Getty will reimburse you for the cost of the bus/transit pass.
Employees who bicycle or walk to work, as well as those who carpool, vanpool or use public transportation are eligible to participate in the rideshare program, where you earn points toward time off work.

Café & Coffee Cart Discount
Getty has an onsite café where staff can get breakfasts, lunches and beverages with a special discounted menu. The coffee carts at Getty also offer discounts for staff on beverages and snacks.
Uniform Cleaning Services
For staff whose positions require the use of a uniform, such as security officers, grounds personnel, etc., Getty covers the cost of dry cleaning/laundry for the required attire and makes it easy for drop-off and pick-up.
Off Fridays and Holidays
Many departments at the Getty work an alternate schedule, with every other Friday off. The Getty also observes 11 paid holidays each year.
Teleworking
Getty supports work flexibility with a teleworking option, which allows staff in some positions to work from home for a limited number of days. See the Employee Staff Handbook to see whether this may be an option for you
Educational Assistance & Student Aid Forgiveness
To encourage and support the efforts of staff to increase expertise , Getty offers educational assistance benefits to reimburse the cost of education that is related to your job and/or your professional development
Working for a not-for-profit organization that is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code may entitle you to receive student loan forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

Staff Art Previews
Staff are invited to view select exhibitions before they are open to the public. These are usually at a time when the Museum is not open, so you can view the works of art with a smaller group of people.
Fitness Center
Getty has a fully equipped, professionally managed Fitness Center at the Getty Center location, which is free to staff. Employees can work out on their own, have a personal training session with Fitness Center staff, or participate in a group fitness class, taught by Fitness Center staff and specialty.
